Somehow, today my "short" story hit 20,000 words.
I don't think it's a short story anymore. That's fine, because Emily wants to
release a print version as well as an e-book, so novella it is.
It's a special project, which I haven't even gotten around to announcing yet. Like all my favorite writing, it involves weather, disaster, humor, and Girl Scouts. Okay, the Girl Scouts part is new to me, and I can't exactly call them that ... it's set in a place that's like a Girl Scout camp, but it's not. More details to follow.

You can always go with Norse mythology and call the not the Girl Scouts troop the Choosers Of The Slain.
