Stone's Trace photo slam part 2

More photos from our book signing last week at the Stone's Trace Pioneer Festival, south of Ligonier.

While we couldn't hold a candle to the regular reenactors (many of them held candles), Emily did a pretty good job of dressing the part. This is the front porch of Stone's Tavern, which appears in our book.

Me ... well ... I didn't do such a great job dressing up. That's Stone's Tavern in the background. No, not that--that's a cannon. Behind the cannon.

Walking into the tavern, you find the inside of a tavern. Some of the photos on the wall appear in Images of America: Albion and Noble County. Now you know where I got them.

There was a lot of music, all day. There was also bagpipe playing. (Just kidding, I actually like listening to the bagpipes. Don't judge me.)

  1. There's nothing wrong with the bagpipes! Good shots!

    1. I actually love the bagpipes, when done properly. Of course, no one knows when they're done properly!
