I’m about a third of the way through Emily’s edits for Hoosier Hysterical. She’s a harsh taskmaster! And I can’t even complain to my wife about her.But a good editor not only looks for typos: She points out what would make a manuscript better. That’s the time consuming part: where she finds things that don’t make sense, or could be done better. I’d rather my editor find that before the reader does.
