sorting through boxes

I spent a large party of the weekend going through old photos, looking for something to use for the fire dept. history book (when not eating turkey and putting up Christmas decorations). I've officially gone over from worrying I wouldn't find enough good pictures to wondering how I'll ever choose between them. Too bad I only have a few images older than the last few decades, though.

    That can be tricky, going for older pics. The only spots I can think of would be libraries, archives, that sort of thing. I'm sure you've already started off that way.

    Yep ... I found some older photos in the library's newspaper microfilm file, but they wouldn't reproduce well and most were of poor quality -- assuming I could even clear permissions on using them, after all these years.

    It is; especially for someone like me, who tends to take *lots* of pictures.
