September
Sixth is the day I first saw Christmas items on the shelf of a local store.
September Sixth. Well over a quarter of a
year before Christmas.
And
yes, I have now been banned from still another store for still another
anti-early Christmas tirade, but the jokes on them: They had to clean up after
my head exploded.
Where I'm at as soon as school was in session, the stores have been pulling out Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas items. Good ole American greed. They want our money, but not how some of us prefer to practice Christmas and Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteYep, the same thing is happening here.
DeleteThe greeting card shops here already start in August.
ReplyDeleteSee? Thee are some good reasons for firebombing a place.
DeleteRetailers start earlier every year!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Shelly.
It's strange that so many unnecessary laws are passed, but we can't pass a low banning holiday advertising before, say, a month previous to the holiday.
