The Albion
Fire Department helped patrol Albion during Trick Or Treating on Halloween,
including a crew with Engine 91 on the Noble County Courthouse square.
Fire truck design is pretty much standardized at this point across North America--but I have to admit, I kind of liked the older style designs.
I've actually managed to fit a mention of that courthouse into almost all my published books. It really is distinctive, but there are at least three others around the country that were designed by the same guy, and have a very similar look.
Noble Township FD does the same thing in Wolf Lake. It makes me proud to live in this community knowing that my children can Treat or Treat in a safe environment.
The courthouse is very distinctive. The fire truck matches very closely to the ones we have here.

I used to take Collin to the firehouse in our neighborhood when he was a little boy. He loved it, and I knew the treats he got there were safe.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely, and that's why they started this tradition with our fire department.
