Good news, everyone! The original forecast said minus 14! On the other hand, we just got back from Missouri, and it was 69 there Saturday just before the tornado warning.
We were near (and sometimes in) Sikeston, in the southeastern part. A tornado touched down very briefly a dozen or so miles south of us, while the freezing line was only twenty or thirty miles north of us. It was all very ... interesting.
Come to england; it's that temp in summer.

That's exactly why I don't go to England!
DeleteWhat part of Missouri were you in? I live in St. Louis (county), and it was freezing with ice on the roads.

DeleteHere we're getting snow every day, off and on.
ReplyDeleteI'd imagine you're most used to it than the people in southern Missouri!
