Mobile homes are death traps, whether in fires or tornadoes.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely. The newer ones are designed so fire doesn't spread as quickly -- but fires in them tend to be even smokier, and it's smoke that usually kills people. Working smoke detectors are mandatory.
DeleteMobile homes always struck me that way, a disaster just waiting to happen.
ReplyDeleteNewer mobile homes are safer -- but that's relative to the old ones, which were absolute death traps.
